Well Water System Explained

A well is the most common method of supplying water to any residential or commercial structure. A well is typically created by drilling a hole in the ground, deep enough to satisfy both the quality and amount of water needed.  A pump is then lowered down the well in order to draw water from the well for distribution through the plumbing system of the structure.

A typical home water system consists of a pump, a pitless adapter, water line, and a pressure storage tank.  If any of these parts fail, the quantity and quality of the groundwater being delivered to the home may suffer.
